History
Seven different mobile units from Day 1 - Today.
I'm Doug Coglitore the owner of TINT PERFECTION.
I started working for one of Orange County's highest volume tint shops located in Costa Mesa back in April 1991. While learning the trade of window film installation, I was paid by the hour next to experienced installers who were paid on commission. This allowed me to take the time on the cars I tinted, and to put out the shop's best work (no redos). Commission paid installers must work fast which is not conducive to a quality tint job.
After almost two years of learning the trade and taking great pride in my work, I decided it was time to start my own business. This would allow me the freedom to do each and every job correctly. So all I needed now was a business name and some courage. My girlfriend suggested Perfection Window Tinting. I liked the named because it represented how I felt about my work, but figured it was too long for windshield decals, so I shortened it to Tint Perfection. And with that, on February 3, 1993 Tint Perfection was born.
I knew by not having the overhead of a tint shop and its employees, I would be able to use the highest quality films and take my time to make sure every job was perfect. I have always believed that if you take care of your customer and he has a good experience, he will tell three people. If the customer is unhappy and had a bad experience, he will tell seven. At the start of my business word quickly spread about the high quality of my work and the business quickly became successful.
After 19 years I'm still offering the highest quality Tint jobs in Orange County.
